The Huawei Y9 2019 is now available in stores in Kenya for Ksh 24,990. Before this, the phone was on pre-order for about a week through Jumia and a few other offline stores. During that period, over 2,000 units were pre-ordered according to the company.
Huawei says that the over 2,000 pre-orders surpassed its target by 140%. Speaking of the ongoing sales, Huawei’s Head of Eastern Africa Mobile Steven Li said, “We would like to acknowledge the fact that Y9 2019 has been one of the devices that has generated interest in the market, our pre-order sales were above our expectation, as of yesterday we were still receiving pre-order requests both online and offline.”
“Huawei Y9 2019 comes with a 6.5-inch Display, with a high screen to body ratio and comfortable sleek design, users can experience cinematic-level visuals and smoother control. The delicate appearance and trendy colors are elegant yet stylish, and the looks are always in fashion,” he concluded.
