The Tecno Spark K7 Is Now Available in Kenya for Ksh 10,000

A couple of weeks ago, I told you about the latest smartphone series from Tecno, the Spark. I also told you that the first smartphone in this series will be the Tecno Spark K7. This phone is finally available in Kenya for Ksh 9,999.

The Tecno Spark K7 went on sale last Friday through online and offline channels. Online, the phone is available exclusively on Kilimall while offline it is available in most Tecno-branded retail shops. At a price of Ksh 9,999, this is one of the cheapest smartphones from the company you can get in the country at the moment.

There was no excitement from Tecno with the launch of the Spark K7, the phone went directly to the retail stores and the company did not make so much noise about that. This is expected for an entry level device from the company, Tecno prefers to take these devices directly to the stores with no launch event. I am not sure if this is the best strategy but hey, whatever works for them. Considering this is a new series, I think the company should have done more than just take the phone to retail stores.

As I have mentioned above, the Tecno Spark K7 is an entry level smartphone so expect that from its specifications. It is the perfect smartphone for the first time phone buyer or a device for those looking for an inexpensive smartphone that can handle basic tasks. It has nothing exciting about it but that is not a big issue considering its price.
