Infinix S2 Pro Specifications and Price in Kenya

Infinix S2 Pro

Infinix S2 Pro

The Infinix S2 Pro is finally available in Kenya. The phone is exclusively available on Jumia for Ksh 15,699. The S2 Pro is replacing the Infinix Hot S that was launched in 2016 as part of a new series from the company. Devices under this new series are designed to look good and therefore attract millennials who may want a phone that has decent specs and looks the part.

Since the Infinix S2 Pro is finally available in Kenya, I thought it is a good idea to do a post showcasing its main specs that you should care about.

As you can see from the specifications above, the Infinix S2 Pro has some decent specifications for its price. Its display is a 5.2 inch one with a 720p resolution, this is not so bad but a Full HD display could have been better. This is the same display size the company used on the Hot S it launched last year.

Powering the Infinix S2 Pro is a 1.3Ghz Octa-core MediaTek processor that is coupled with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage space and Mali T-720 GPU. This does not look like a bad combination and I will be keen to see how it handles tasks I throw at it. Unfortunately, the Infinix S2 Pro comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, I mean, Android O is almost out and some manufacturers are still sticking with Marshmallow, sad!

The one area where Infinix seems to have invested a lot is in the camera department. The S2 Pro comes with a 13MP unit at the back and a 13MP+8MP dual camera combination in front. Yes, you have read that right, the Infinix S2 Pro comes with dual front facing cameras. The back camera can only record 720p videos by the way.

As for the battery, the Infinix S2 Pro comes with a 3000 mAh unit that is not so bad in my opinion. As mentioned above, the phone is available for Ksh 15,699.

I will be reviewing this phone so expect me to go deep into all these specifications in that. The review will be up in a couple of weeks.
