ShowMax sets up its East Africa headquarters in Nairobi

showmax kenya

Back when ShowMax launched its services in Kenya, the company said that Kenya is one of its most important markets in Africa. In more than one occasion, representatives from the company have told me that it has seen impressive growth numbers in the country ever since it has been available in the country.

Just to show how important Kenya is to the ShowMax, the internet Tv company has announced that it is opening its first office in the country. The new office will be at the Nairobi Garage and will act as the company’s East Africa headquarters. The company says that the office in Nairobi will support growth in Kenya and the wider East Africa region where the company will be expanding to.

According to Chris Savides, Head of ShowMax Africa, the company is keen to tailor content, functionality, and partnerships to the needs and its office in Nairobi is key to this localisation strategy.

On why they chose Nairobi Garage, Savides said, “We chose to base our operations at the Nairobi Garage for both practical and competitive reasons. Practically, it’s a flexible space well-known for consistently delivering the services essential to running a business like ours. Competitively, we want to be plugged-in at the heart of digital entrepreneurship in the region. We’re looking forward to learning from and hopefully contributing to the business community in Nairobi.”
