Twitter has just unveiled its new explore tab that borrows a few things from Instagram. The social networking site unveiled this tab a couple of days ago to select users around the world. This tab makes it easier for people to easily keep up with what is happening outside their timeline.

Twitter explore brings together some of the company’s existing features including search, trends, and Moments under one roof.

With this new explore tab, you get the Moments, search and trends tabs in one area. This is similar to what you get on Instagram where the search and suggested content from people who you may not be following. This can give you a new perspective on the app and how people use it beyond the people you follow.

The content you see on the Explore tab will be from people you don’t follow but have common followers or interests.  This new Explore tab is rolling out to those on iOS in select markets, those of us using Android will be getting it in the coming weeks.
