OnePlus is set to unveil its next smartphone, the OnePlus 3 on June 14. Some sources say that the company will be unveiling this phone on June 15 but it looks like this will be in China only, other international markets will be getting it on June 14, a day earlier.

The exact launch date of the OnePlus 3 may not be clear right now but we are still excited since we will be seeing the phone before the end of the month, this is all that matters at the moment. To get us even more excited about this phone, OnePlus India has shared the first teaser video that doesn’t give away too much about the phone. All it tells us is that the phone is coming. Check out the video for yourself below.

Before the official launch date, OnePlus will have a flash sale in China on June 6 where only 1000 OnePlus 3 units will be available. During this day, the company will be selling the OnePlus 3 for around $455 (approximately Ksh 46,000). The company says that this is not the final price of the phone, it will announce the official price on June 14/15 when it unveils the phone.

According to OnePlus, if the final price ends up being lower than what you pay during the flash sale, it is willing to refund you the difference. If on the other hand the price is a bit high, you will be required to top that up. The good thing is that you will be able to pull out of the transaction if the price end s up being high and you are not willing to top it up. Personally I don’t think the price difference will be that high.

Some of the specs we expect to see on the OnePlus 3 include a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with ether 4/6GB of RAM.

At the back we expect a 16MP camera with an 8MP front facing one, the battery should be a 3,000 mAh one.  These are just some of the specs we expect, OnePlus has not officially confirmed any of them. We will know for sure in about two weeks’ time.
