Sendy, a company that offers a marketplace for last-mile package delivery and logistics services and allows customers to send packages and documents, is now available in Kisumu. Ever since it was launched back in 2014, Sendy has focused its operations in Nairobi and some of its environs. The company has grown since then and is now expanding to Kisumu.
Sendy has seen steady growth since its launch and it ended up being the first company to benefit from Safaricom’s Spark Fund. The guys at Sendy did not reveal how much money they received from the fund but all we know is that it was something between Ksh 6 Million and 22 Million.

The injection of this new cash from the Spark Fund is probably what Sendy is using for its expansion. At this point we are not sure if Sendy has any plans to expand to any other cities. We know that might happen in the future but we are just not sure when.
