The Huawei P9 will be unveiled on March 9

Huawei is expected to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Huawei P9, next week on March 9. We have been hearing a lot about this phone and we now know the company has an event scheduled for next week in Berlin. This is where we will first see the Huawei P9 since it was not showcased at MWC 2016 last month as most people had expected.

Huawei even posted a teaser but as usual did not say much about it leaving us to guess what to expect.  Check out the teaser the company shared below.

From the photo above, you can’t tell what the event will be about. Probably a beer event? Well, Huawei is not in that business so the only thing that will make sense will be the P9. Since this is the company’s flagship for 2016, it has to be secretive about it to keep people guessing and looking forward to it.

Some of the specifications the Huawei P9 will come with include a 5.2 inch 1080p display which is not too big or too small. It will be powered by the Kirin 950 processor with 3GB of RAM and probably 4GB of RAM for the P9 Max. There are two storage option available, 32 and 64GB, both of which can be expanded through the microSD card slots.

At the back it has a 12MP dual camera setup with an accompanying 8MP one in front. Still at the back sits a 3,900 mAh battery that can easily get you through the whole day without having to charge it up. We will update you with more features as we get them.
