The Huawei P8 Lite is the company’s affordable version of its current flagship device, the Huawei P8. The Huawei P8 Lite was unveiled about 9 months ago and comes with some decent and high powered specs at an affordable price.

From when it was launched till now, the Huawei has managed to ship over 10 million P8 Lite units globally. This means that over 1 Million Huawei P8 units are shipped every month and this is very amazing for a device that isn’t the main flagship from the company.

According to Huawei, the P8 Lite is its first device to see relatively better sales results internationally than its home country of China. It is not hard to see why the P8 Lite is successful as it offers you an almost premium experience at half the cost. Huawei also revealed that the P8 Lite will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow very soon, the company did not say when and very soon can be 5 months from now or even 2 weeks from today.

    Started The Year Positively

Huawei has also started this year (2016) on a high note and managed to ship over 12 million smartphones last month. This is a rise of 93% from the same period last year. The positive sales figures may have been helped by the P8 Series that is made up of the Huawei P8, P8 Lite and the P8 Max. The 12 Million units shipped last month is a slight rise from the 10 million smartphones the company has been selling every month since October 2015.

Looking forward to the Huawei P9, we are expecting the company to try and match this success. With the company’s popularity growing globally, am sure they will be able to shutter their existing sales records this year.
