Last Friday, Infinix Kenya launched its latest smartphone, the Infinix Zero 3 (X552), in Kenya. The launch event was the Infinix Fan Festival that was held at the Hilton Hotel. The Infinix Zero 3 was first announced last month (December 2015) in Nigeria but was never available for purchase anywhere until today.

The Infinix Zero 3 is available in Kenya on Jumia for only Ksh 18,499. You can get this phone by clicking here http://bit.ly/1OZ2mtu . This is a very reasonable price considering the specs it comes with. This is the first smartphone by Infinix to be launched in Kenya this year and I will be keeping an eye on how it performs going forward.

The Zero 3 supports 4G LTE and it joins the recently launched Infinix Note 2 that has an LTE variant that is also available in the country.

    Infinix Zero 3 (X552) Specs

As for specs, the Infinix Zero 3 (X552) has some premium specs that you do not expect for a phone below Ksh 20,000.

This phone comes with a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. This display is very bright and vibrant. As for what is underneath, the Zero 3 is powered by a 2 GHz Octa Core 64-bit processor used together with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. There is a microSD card slot if you want to include a memory card to expand your memory.

The back camera is a massive 20.7MP one from Sony with dual LED flash and is able to record 4K videos. At the front is a 5MP with flash. For the battery, it has a 3030 mAh non removable unit.

With the launch of this phone, Infinix has started the year on a high note and we will have to see if they are able to maintain this.

I already have the Infinix Zero 3 with me and I will be posting its review this Friday and so you should come back for that.
