    A Brief Look at Some of the Challenges Developers Can Take in The Intel Developer Challenge

    If you do not know it yet, the Intel developer challenge is currently ongoing and you have a few days remaining to sign up and participate if you haven’t already. The Intel developer challenge is a loyalty program that allows developers to take part in different challenges online for a chance to win amazing prizes.

    Below are some of the challenges you can take in the Intel developer challenge.

    Android

    If you know even the little bit about smartphones, then you know about Android. Through this challenge, you can show your Android prowess while standing a chance of winning amazing prizes. If you think you are the best Android developer or just the best developer in general, then you definitely need to be part of the Intel developer challenge.

    Internet of Things (IoT)

    It is said that in the near future, the Internet of Things (IoT) will play a huge role in our lives. According to Wikipedia, “The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects or “things” embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data.”

    We have already started hearing and seeing developments in regards to the Internet of Things but we still have a long way to go. If you are one of the first people in the field, you need to show other how good you are by taking part in the Intel developer challenge.

    RealSense

    For the hardcore developers, you probably already know what Intel’s RealSense is all about. RealSense is defined as, “a platform for implementing gesture-based Human-Computer Interaction techniques. It consists of series of consumer grade 3D cameras together with an easy to use machine perception library that simplifies supporting the cameras for third-party software developers.”

    Testing Apps on Test droid

    Test droid is a virtual testing service that allows you to test your apps to make sure they are running smoothly for the best user experience. Test droid with real device testing through the cloud helps you to Save on app development costs, reduce risks, speed up time to market, and reduce operational costs. If you are a serious app developer, you may need to know a few things or two about test droid. If on the other hand you know about test droid, the Intel developer challenge is where you should be.

    A few other challenges you can expect to find in the Intel developer challenge include Download of SDK’s, Tool downloads and videos. Each week there is a different challenge so you should watch out for that and make sure when the challenge you are most comfortable with comes up gives you the chance of shining above the rest of the developers.
