New Photos Of The Yet To Be Announced, HTC One X9, Surface Online

HTC Google

New Photos of what is believed to be the HTC One X9 have surfaced online giving us a clear look of what the phone is all about.  We have heard of this phone before and most people had indicated that this will be the company’s first flagship device of 2016. Well, it looks like this is all wrong as the HTC One X9 will be more of amid range device.  This is still OK with me but can be slightly disappointing for those who were expecting a true flagship.

HTC has not been very successful with its One lineup even though they are some of the best android devices currently on the market.  The company may be hoping to change this with the One X9.

For the specs, the HTC One X9 comes with some decent ones that give it the mid range classification.  Starting with the display, it has a 5.5 inch one with a resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels.  5.5 inch displays seem to be the standard for 2016 and you should expect to see more devices with such displays.

Powering the HTC One X9 is a 2.2GHz octa core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.  For storage,  it has 16GB of space that can be expanded up to 1TB using a micro SD card.

The HTC One X9 has a 13MP camera at the back with a 5MP one in front for selfies and video calls.  This is not a bad combination at all and I hope the camera performs well in real life situations. Unfortunately, the HTC One X9 will come with Android 5.0.2 out of the box, I was expecting Android 6.0 marshmallow.  I just hope that this phone is in line to get Android marshmallow.

That us all I know about this device at this point, I will update you if I get more information.
