Two days ago, Google officially released Android 6.0.1 factory images for its most recent Nexus devices. With this release, you should expect to see manufactures roll out this update to some of their devices in the next few weeks or months.

One company that wants to jump into this update is HTC. The company has announced that it will be updating its recently launched smartphone, the HTC One A9 to Android 6.0.1 before the end of this month. Android 6.0.1 does not bring much to the platform; it brings support to a whole bunch of emojis and a few other tweaks. Aside from this, it also brings with it some new features that include a changed Do Not Disturb functionality and newly positioned navigation buttons for tablets.
