Samsung is known for its many smartphones that it releases every so often. Even with its many smartphones on the market, the company is currently working on two entry level devices that it will be releasing anytime soon.

We have heard about these devices before and they were previously referred to as the Galaxy Mega On and the Galaxy Grand On.

The Galaxy On5 is the smaller of the two and has a 5 inch display with a 720p resolution. This is a TFT LCD display and the phone seems to have very thin bezels from the photos that have surfaced. It is powered by a quad-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. For storage, the Galaxy On5 has 8GB of storage space which can be expanded further using a microSD card.

At the back, it has an 8MP camera capable of shooting 1080p videos while at the front sits a 5MP camera. The back cover is a faux leather one, something that doesn’t surprise me given that Samsung has used this type of cover before.

The Galaxy On5 has a 2,600mAh battery and will be retailing at $155 (approximately Ksh 16,000) when launched.

As for the Galaxy On7, it comes with a 5.5 inch display with a 720p resolution. No information about its RAM or processor is known at the moment. As for the camera, it has a 13MP one at the back and probably a 5MP one in front. It will have a 3,000mAh battery and will retail at around $200 (approximately Ksh 21,000).

Both the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 will be unveiled officially in the next few weeks.
