By now, you already know that there are to new Nexus devices that Google will unveil later this month. We have been hearing about these devices for some time now but we never knew their official names. Apart from a few specs, all we have known so far is that they will be made by LG and Huawei.
It is now being reported by Droid Life that the new Nexus devices will go by the names, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. We have heard of the Nexus 5X before but the 6P is new to us.
It is not clear what the alphabets mean exactly but it is reported the P may stand for Plus, Phablet or any other thing while the X most likely stands for Extra. This means that the two Nexus devices will be the same as the previous Nexus devices with slightly better specs.
What of Specs?
It is interesting that Google, LG and Huawei have managed to keep the specs of these devices a secret even as we get close to their launch date. All we know at the moment is that the Huawei Nexus will have a 5.7 inch display while the LG Nexus will have a smaller 5.2 inch display.
Google will stream this event through its official YouTube channel later this month (September 29).
