Windows 10 Launch Event Set For January 21st

The much anticipated next version and successor of windows 8 is set to be launched next year on January 21st at Redmond Campus.This is official news from Microsoft team after the Company made it clear the rumored launch of the Operating system next month would now be launched at an event that will take place after the Consumer Electronics Show on January 21 on Microsoft’s campus in Redmond, Washington.

The event, titled Windows 10: The next chapter, will be attended by several of Microsoft’s top brass including CEO Satya Nadella, Windows chief Terry Myerson, Xbox boss Phil Spencer and Joe Belfiore, the person in charge of the phone, tablet and PC experience of Windows.

The company has repeatedly claimed that what is has released of Windows 10 far has been a small fraction of its larger size. This event, which won’t release the final preview,will contain a consumer-friendly set of features.

The event will be live streamed. Windows 10 has seen warmer initial reviews that Windows 8 accrued in its early life, but remains a nascent product that has managed to irk some power users with changes to how it handles One Drive, the company’s cloud storage solution.

The January technical preview likely will showcase the “Continuum” Windows 10 design feature, which changes a machine’s behavior for devices that can convert from laptops to tablets. It also may feature Cortana integration, Foley speculated. Cortana is voice-responsive personal assistant application made by Microsoft.
