The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Is Now Available In South Africa

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 was officially unveiled by Samsung in April and was to start shipping to different markets during the second quarter of 2014. Shipping of this tablet started a while back and has only landed in Africa officially this week. The first country to get it is South Africa.

Samsung south Africa announced this and went ahead to say that only the 7-inch and 10.1-inch Tab 4 devices are currently available in the south African market. The main reason for locking out the 8-inch model is still unknown.

The Galaxy Tab 4 devices will be available through Samsung Experience stores and other authorised retailers. The recommended retail price for these Tabs are as listed below:

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (T231): R3,999 (approximately Kshs. 33,000)

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (T531): R6,999 (approximately Kshs. 58,000)

These are just the recommended prices and there will be many variations depending on the retailer you go with.
