An Android Powered Lumia Smartphone from Nokia and Microsoft Is Coming Soon

Nokia X2 group

Nokia jumped into the Android ecosystem with the first edition of Nokia X earlier this year. These devices were received well and they forced Nokia to unveiled their second edition of Android powered devices it dubbed the Nokia X2.

Nokia (now under Microsoft) is not stopping here as it is rumoured to be working on a Lumia Smartphone powered by Android.

For years, Lumia Smartphones have predominantly been powered by Windows Phone OS and this move will be a big step for the company.

In regards to its move to Android, Nokia has previously said that it was using the Nokia X devices to push Microsoft’s services to low end Android users.

This Android powered Lumia Smartphone is expected to be a high end phone and will help Microsoft push its services such as Bing, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote to high end Android users.
