LG is working on the successor to the V10 smartphone to be released in September

LG is about to expand its smartphone lineup this September with the release of a new device. The company is reportedly working on a successor to the LG V10 (pictured above) that was unveiled in October last year. This smartphone has been on the market for almost 9 months but here in Kenya the company started marketing it a few weeks ago.

Back to the successor to the V10, Korean website, ET News, says that it will be called the LG V20 or V11. The publication is reporting that the phone will be launched in September which will be about a month earlier when compared to the V10.

As for the specs, we know nothing about the V11/V20 but it is safe to say that it will have slightly upgraded specs when compared to the V10. We have not seen any leaks/rumors about it and this means that LG doesn’t want us to know about it and this means that the phone doesn’t have any game changing specs which probably means that its specs and those of the V10 are not that different.

The LG G5 has not been very successful and the company has to ensure the V11/V20 does not disappoint. LG is one of the best smartphone manufacturers out there but its devices are not selling as well as many people expect. The LG V11/V20 better change this if the company has to stay profitable going into the future.
