The phone is available in Kenya for around Ksh 21,800 and is the successor to the Note 7 that I reviewed not so long ago. The Note 7 was and still is a good phone and had some very good cameras. The Note 8 is not that different as I have noticed for the few days I have been using it. In this post, I will be highlighting some of the top 8 things you need to know about this phone before you go out…

And countries that invest smartly in reducing inequality today are likely to see more sustained economic growth than those that don’t invest. Less inequality can benefit the…

The Tecno Spark 5 Pro has finally been launched in Kenya. This latest device in the Spark series joins the Tecno Spark 5 and the Spark 5 Air from earlier this year. I was not particularly a fan of the Spark 5 when I reviewed it and I hope the Spark 5 Pro is different. The Tecno Spark 5 Pro is available in Kenya from Ksh 13,999 which is not a bad price if you ask me. This is the same price the Spark 5 retailed for so we are getting slightly improved specs for the same price. The Tecno…

OPPO’s current flagship smartphone for the Kenyan market is the Reno 4. This phone was launched in the country last month and is currently available in retail stores for around Ksh 40.000. This is right where previous OPPO Reno devices have been selling for so for pricing we are getting more or less of the same. I used the OPPO Reno 4’s predecessor, the Reno 3, earlier this year and absolutely loved it. From the build quality to the performance, the Reno 3 really impressed me. This is one of the reasons why I was excited to review the Reno…

I have been using the OPPO for quite sometime now and given that this is the company’s first smartwatch, I was curious to see what it has to offer. The watch is available in Kenya for around Ksh 24,000. This is not cheap but for OPPO this is a good start for its first smartwatch. The OPPO Watch looks a lot like the Apple Watch not just from its design but some of the watch faces too. There is no originality in this regard but having used the watch for sometime, I have come to like it. There are two…

The Infinix Note 8 is finally coming to Kenya. We told you about this phone late last week informing you that the company will be launching it in Kenya later this month. The Infinix Note 8 will be the successor to the Note 7 that was launched in Kenya a few months back. It is quite strange to see two devices in the same series launch in the country just a few months apart but considering how things change really fast in the smartphone market, the company may have seen it fit to replace the Note 7 to still be…
