Safaricom introduced the MyCounty app earlier this year to help  digitize county services. The app first went live in partnership with Makueni County back in April followed by Elgeyo Marakwet a few weeks later.  The app’s aim is to provide a single, citizen access channel. inDrive has announced the introduction of its ride-hailing service in Lesotho, in line with the company’s ongoing expansion in Southern Africa. IXAfrica is set to construct its second data centre campus in Nairobi. The campus will be located at Tilisi on your way to Limuru town. The company is currently conducting due diligence to determine the exact size of the campus. Preliminary estimates are targeting to have a 30MW+ facility. Yesterday Safaricom announced that it has raised the daily M-Pesa transaction limit from Ksh 300,000 to Ksh 500,000. Airtel Money has followed suit and today announced that it will be raising the daily transaction limit to Ksh 500,000. The limit per transaction has also been raised to Ksh 250,000.  Both Airtel Money and Safaricom have received the approval of the Central Bank of Kenya to raise the limits.
