According to Kaspersky research on mobile cyberthreat dynamics in Q2 2023, threats for mobile devices are growing worldwide. In particular, the number of mobile threats for Android devices detected and blocked by Kaspersky in the Middle East, Turkiye, and Africa (META) region increased by 5% in Q2 2023 when compared to the same period last year. Airtel Money has today announced it will increase its Withdrawal charges as well as transaction charges when sending money from Airtel Money to other networks. The changes take effect from today and will see those withdrawing anything between 50k and 250k pay Ksh 300 as the withdrawal fee.
