Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy A18 LTE and Galaxy A08 LTE in Kenya.
The Galaxy A18 LTE starts at KSh 32,000 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the Galaxy A08 LTE starts at KSh 23,300 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model.
The Galaxy A18 LTE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It is powered by the Exynos 1610/G99+ platform and has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The more affordable Galaxy A08 LTE comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP front camera and a larger 6,000mAh battery, also supporting 25W fast charging. It runs on the Helio G99+ platform and has an IP64 rating.
Both smartphones support Samsung’s Circle to Search 3.0, alongside AI assistants Gemini and Perplexity. They also feature Samsung Knox Vault security and come with a commitment of six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security maintenance releases.

The Galaxy A18 LTE is available in a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration at KSh 32,000. An 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, priced at KSh 51,600, is expected to arrive later in the year.
The Galaxy A08 LTE is available in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration at KSh 23,300. A 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model, priced at KSh 33,100, will be introduced later.
