Westcon-Comstor and Nokia have expanded their partnership to drive growth and also deliver greater value to channel partners across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
This partnership is different from the fulfilment-focused model to a more proactive and growth-driven approach. The two companies will work closely on joint market engagement, pipeline development and co-selling opportunities.
Under the new arrangement, Westcon-Comstor will onboard dedicated direct-touch sales resources in select MEA markets. These teams will work proactively with partners and end customers to identify opportunities for Nokia’s enterprise and network infrastructure solutions. In parallel, Nokia will provide specialist technical insight to Westcon sales teams, particularly around whitespace opportunities across its fixed, IP, and optical networking portfolio.
Both organisations will also co-manage forecasting and pipeline development, facilitate escalations within Nokia, and support must-win opportunities through closer collaboration. The partnership further includes joint co-marketing initiatives and events designed to increase awareness and drive demand for Nokia’s solutions across the region.
David Grant, CEO at Westcon-Comstor, said the strengthened relationship reflects the company’s broader strategy to deliver more distribution-led growth as the channel evolves.
Rakesh Parbhoo, Executive Vice President for Middle East and Africa at Westcon-Comstor, noted that combining Nokia’s innovation with Westcon-Comstor’s channel expertise will unlock new growth opportunities for partners operating in the MEA market.
