From a pool of over 200 applications representing 27 countries, ten startups have been selected for the final stage of the Latitude59 Kenya Edition Pitch Competition. These teams will present their solutions from December 3 to 5, 2025, at the A.S.K Dome in Nairobi.
The selected startups are developing technologies including drone- and AI-powered carbon measurement, automated smart-locker infrastructure, AI-driven crop health platforms, circular pet nutrition, influencer tools, healthcare operations software and clean aquatic protein for sustainable food systems.
Triin Ilves, Head of Startup Relations at Latitude59, said the competition demonstrates the strength of the African startup ecosystem. She said, “The level of execution we saw this year was remarkable. Narrowing the list to ten was extremely challenging. These teams are not only building impressive technology, they are bringing clarity, speed, and global ambition.”
Nick Vilelle, founder of Nairobi Business Angel Network, added that NaiBAN is excited about the caliber of the startups. He said, “It is because of founders like these that we formed our network. We are eager to write a check next week and join the journey of one of these inspirational founders.”
The top ten startups competing are: Acre Insights, Beba-Beggie, LimaBot AI, LOOP Pet Food, Mediakits.io, MyItura, PaydHQ, ProPath Sports, RUN, and Vertical Lake.
Latitude59 Kenya 2025 will also feature a lineup of founders, leaders and innovators who will share insights on growth, resilience, and navigating Africa’s fast-changing markets.
