Zoho has released a significant update to Zoho One. The new version introduces a redesigned interface, improved collaboration tools and expanded AI capabilities intended to simplify work for businesses using the suite.
Speaking during the announcement in Nairobi, Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head for Zoho Kenya, said the platform is evolving into a more connected environment.
“Zoho One customers are choosing a solution that allows Zoho to handle the technology while they focus on productivity,” he said.
More than 75,000 organisations use Zoho One globally. On average, each customer relies on 22 apps within the suite.
The biggest change is the new interface, which groups tools into Spaces for personal work, departments and organisation-wide use. This setup is meant to reduce switching between apps. The update also introduces a central search bar and an improved Action Panel that highlights meetings, notifications and tasks in one place.
The dashboard has been refreshed and now supports widgets from Zoho and selected third-party apps. Zoho has also added Vani, a visual collaboration space for diagrams, whiteboards and mind maps that supports video calling.
Zoho has strengthened native integrations across the platform. Administrators now have a central panel to monitor and manage all connections. Zoho Directory is included as the identity and access management layer.
A new Smart Offboarding workflow handles employee exits by transferring ownership of departments, managing device data and adjusting access rights.
Zia, Zoho’s AI assistant, now appears across more areas of Zoho One. It powers unified search, content organisation through Zia Hubs and quick prompt-based queries through Ask Zia.
All the new features are available at the existing price of KES 4,050 per user per month.
