Vertiv is set to showcase its advanced AI-ready portfolio at AfricaCom 2025 taking place from November 10 to 13.
Vertiv’s Managing Director for Africa, Wojtek Piorko, will participate in a fireside panel discussion titled “Africa for Digital Africa – Where Do We Need to Be by 2030?” on Tuesday, November 11. The discussion will explore Africa’s readiness for large-scale AI deployments, national planning decisions, and the opportunities and challenges facing the continent’s data centre ecosystem.
At the Vertiv booth, attendees will get a hands-on look at Vertiv 360AI, a comprehensive portfolio of validated designs covering the entire power and cooling chain, remote management and lifecycle services. Vertiv will also showcase Vertiv OneCore, a scalable, factory-assembled solution integrating power, thermal, and IT infrastructure for AI deployments exceeding 5 MW.
Other highlights include Vertiv EnergyCore Grid, a high-capacity battery energy storage system (BESS), and a scaled model of Vertiv SmartAisle, a flexible, pre-engineered infrastructure offering for edge and smaller data centres.
“AfricaCom is the continent’s premier technology gathering, reinforcing South Africa’s role as a hub for African digital and technological development,” said Piorko. “Our customers across Africa are experiencing rapid growth in mobile connectivity, cloud adoption, and AI-driven applications. We look forward to collaborating with stakeholders to support Africa’s digital future and readiness for whatever comes next.”
Visitors to Vertiv’s booth will also experience the Vertiv XR App, which uses augmented reality to help IT managers, data centre operators, and partners visualize infrastructure solutions. In addition, the Vertiv Virtual Showroom will offer interactive 3D models of the company’s latest cooling, power management, and rack systems.
