Verto has officially launched a new hub in Nairobi as part of its East African growth strategy.

The hub, located at The Address on Muthangari Drive, will serve as Verto’s central point for operations in the region. The company says the move reflects its commitment to simplifying international trade for businesses in emerging markets, particularly those navigating costly and slow payment systems.

Verto’s global network spans more than 170 countries and 49 currencies.. Its platform enables businesses to send and receive money securely across borders without the traditional hurdles of high fees, long delays and lack of transparency.

Speaking during the launch, Verto Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder Ola Oyetayo described Nairobi as a natural choice for expansion, citing Kenya’s digital infrastructure, entrepreneurial culture, and influence in the region.

“As we work to enable seamless trade for businesses in and out of Africa, having a stronger local presence allows us to deliver faster, smarter, and more inclusive solutions to our customers here,” Oyetayo said.

The Nairobi hub will host teams across operations, compliance, customer support and partner engagement.

“This isn’t just a workplace; it’s a base for innovation, collaboration, and creating lasting impact. Kenyan businesses face unique challenges when trading internationally. With our expanded presence, we’ll be even better equipped to support them with accessible, reliable, and efficient financial tools tailored to their needs,” James Njoroge, Operations Manager for Verto Kenya.
