Tende Pay has announced a strategic partnership with PesaLink to transform how businesses in Kenya handle payments.

The collaboration integrates PesaLink’s instant payment infrastructure directly into Tende Pay’s spend management platform. This is meant to give businesses the ability to send both single and bulk payments of up to KSh 999,999 instantly, 24/7, across all banks in Kenya.

This is a major step toward solving long-standing challenges around speed, convenience, and affordability iin business transactions for SMEs in Kenya

Key benefits for businesses on Tende Pay will include:

    • High-value payments to any bank without worrying about cut-off times.
    • Streamlined supplier payments with instant settlement.
    • Improved billing and invoicing.
    • End-to-end payroll services, including PAYE, NSSF, NHIF calculations, disbursements and payslip dispatch.

PesaLink emphasized that the partnership represents a new era in enterprise payments, one where payments are “always on, always secure, and always working for you.” The integration also brings real-time visibility, secure audit trails, and digitized workflows that simplify financial operations for businesses.

“At Pesalink, we believe collaboration is the key to helping businesses move different. Pesalink was built on the principle of interoperability to simplify payments by delivering instant and affordable transfers across Kenya’s financial ecosystem. By partnering with TendePay, we are extending these benefits to businesses of every size — giving them efficiency, financial control, and confidence in their daily operations,” said Gituku Kirika, CEO of IPSL.

Speaking on the partnership, Tende Pay highlighted that the move was informed by customer demand: businesses wanted a faster, more reliable way to move money without the friction of cut-off times and delayed settlements.

“This partnership reflects our evolution into a full spend management platform. With Pesalink’s trusted infrastructure, we are giving businesses a reliable, secure, and affordable tool to manage every payment, whether large or small, at any time,” said Abel Masai, CEO of TendePay.
