Vertiv Unveils OneCore to Accelerate High-Performance Data Centre Deployment

Vertiv OneCore

Vertiv has launched Vertiv OneCore, a new turnkey infrastructure solution aimed at simplifying and speeding up the deployment of high-performance data centres. Vertiv OneCore is now globally available and is designed to meet the growing demand for scalable, prefabricated solutions in data centres powering AI, HPC, and other high-density workloads.

What’s New with Vertiv OneCore?

Vertiv OneCore is a slab-up, factory-assembled system that integrates Vertiv’s trusted power, thermal, and IT infrastructure technologies into a single, streamlined solution. Instead of building out data centres component by component, OneCore offers a modular, prefabricated approach that can significantly reduce on-site complexity and shorten deployment timelines.

Vertiv wants OneCore to be the answer as global demand shifts to fast, flexible, and scalable infrastructure. This is  particularly so in colocation, enterprise, sovereign and neocloud environments.

Key Features of Vertiv OneCore

  • Scalable Power – It supports 5 to 50 MW per block which is ideal in addressing the growing energy needs of AI and dense computing.
  • Rack Flexibility – Since it supports configurations from 96 to 944 racks, it can accommodate both low and extreme densities.
  • Integrated Thermal & Power Systems – It uses Vertiv’s own liquid cooling, heat rejection, UPS and power distribution systems.
  • Concurrent Maintainability – Ensures uptime even during system upgrades or maintenance.
  • Optimised Environmental Performance – Operates in extreme climates, from -20°C to 55°C.
  • Redundancy and Resilience – Offers multiple redundancy options for electrical and fluid systems.
  • Global Compatibility: Handles both medium voltage (11–35 kV) and standard 3-phase AC power input (400V–480V).

At the core of the system is Vertiv Unify. This is a centralised management layer that provides full visibility and control across the integrated infrastructure. With this,  customers can easily monitor performance, manage resources and maintain uptime from a single interface.

Why It Matters

There is increased demand for AI and HPC workloads and this is pushing traditional data centre infrastructure to its limits. Companies are facing long lead times, increased complexity, and rising costs when they try to build capacity quickly while maintaining performance and sustainability. Vertiv OneCore addresses these challenges with a standardised yet highly customisable architecture that helps reduce time-to-market without compromising scalability or operational efficiency.

According to Viktor Petik, Senior VP of Infrastructure Solutions at Vertiv, “The challenge isn’t just designing for today’s needs but building an adaptable foundation for the future. OneCore reduces project complexity by standardising key components while preserving the flexibility to scale and evolve.”

How to Access Vertiv OneCore

Vertiv OneCore is available globally starting today through Vertiv’s sales network. Enterprises, colocation providers, and public sector clients can work directly with Vertiv or through authorised partners to tailor and deploy the solution based on their specific data centre needs.

Vertiv OneCore enters a growing market of prefabricated data centre solutions with competitors such as Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure Modular Data Centres) and Huawei (FusionModule solutions). Vertiv emphasis on extreme density flexibility, broad climate compatibility, and fully integrated power and cooling systems to have a strong edge, especially for deployments above 5 MW.

OneCore offers building-scale solution with support for full site development from foundation to fit-out. This is different from some competitors who primarily focus on containerised solutions or specific modules.

Looking Ahead

With the rise of AI workloads and the growing need for infrastructure that can keep pace, OneCore positions Vertiv as a leader in the next evolution of data centre architecture. Its speed, flexibility, and integrated design offer a compelling proposition for operators looking to build for both today and tomorrow.
