Nutanix has been recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Multicloud Container Platforms, Q3 2025. This marks its debut in the report showing its growing reputation in the cloud-native space.

The recognition follows the launch of the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) which was announced at last year’s .NEXT conference after the company acquired D2iQ’s Kubernetes platform. This acquisition enabled Nutanix to offer a robust, integrated solution for managing containerized applications across hybrid and multicloud environments.

Earlier this year, Nutanix expanded its container innovation with Cloud Native AOS, extending its enterprise-grade storage and data services to hyperscaler Kubernetes services and bare-metal cloud-native environments—without requiring a hypervisor.

According to the Forrester report, “Nutanix revitalised its Kubernetes efforts by empowering D2iQ’s leadership and funding integrations, resulting in a unified enterprise platform spanning data centre, cloud, and edge. Its supporting services and partner ecosystem are notably mature.”

The report also highlights Nutanix’s strong roadmap and unique value proposition for organizations transitioning from virtual machines to containerized environments particularly VMware users looking to modernize their infrastructure.

Lee Caswell, SVP of Product and Solutions Marketing at Nutanix, said:

“We’ve debuted as a Leader for one of our newest offerings. With NKP, customers can run and manage modern containerized applications anywhere, on-prem, hybrid, or multicloud with a unified, open platform built for developer choice.”

Nutanix’s growing portfolio now positions it as a top vendor for enterprises building future-proof, container-first cloud strategies with particular strength in private cloud AI, Kubernetes storage, and hybrid multicloud operations.
