    Moringa School Hosts Career Fair and Graduation

    Moringa School held itS annual Career Fair and graduation ceremony on July 11th, 2025, at the Dome ASK, Jamhuri Showground, Nairobi.

    This year’s career fair, themed “TechXpo: Unlocking Opportunities in Modern Tech,” represents a significant milestone in Moringa School’s ongoing commitment to facilitating pathways to success for students.  This Career fair had over fifty employer partners who actively participated in the event..  

    This career fair gave support to the attendees on crafting their career pathways by providing current students with an opportunity to gain job and industry insights from employers and recruiters, directly contributing to their career planning. The event focused on the vast opportunities in the evolving tech landscape, highlighting innovations and emerging technologies such as AI, block chain, cyber security, cloud computing, gaming, and machine learning.

    Chief Guest: George Njuguna -Founder, GNK Consulting Limited and Board Member at Moringa School.  Stated, “Today’s celebration is more than a milestone for our graduates — it’s a powerful reminder that Africa’s digital transformation will be driven by bold, skilled, and purpose-driven talent. I’m proud to be part of Moringa School’s vision to shape the next generation of tech leaders who will transform not only their lives, but our continent”.

     The fair also showcased an exciting opportunity for ten High schools that participated in a Hackathon, which had Hands-on coding workshops tailored for absolute beginners, featuring block-based coding and interactive programming exercises.  An Interactive career talk, which exposed students to software development, data science and cyber security, allowed parents to understand career opportunities in tech, including discussions on scholarships, pathways, and the future of work. 

    Best Team was awarded to Light Academy Nairobi, Karima Girls and Rusinga School Nairobi.  Karima Girls High school was awarded for the best Innovation project. Best Technical Implementation was awarded to Light Academy Nairobi and the best problem solver was awarded to State House Girls High School.  Moringa is focused on not just being Kenya’s Tech Talent Hub for recruitment agencies, corporates, and global tech giants but also providing its students with a practical curriculum that is outcomes-based and linked to job readiness.

    Moringa School held its graduation ceremony this year for its latest cohort of students. One thousand four hundred and seventy-eight students graduated with certificates in Software engineering, Data science, Cyber Security, Data analysis and visualization and Product design.   The graduates now join their rightful place in the digital economy, evidenced by Moringa School’s employment rate of 85% for all job-seeking alumni within 12 months. Over the past 10 years, more than 8,000 individuals have been trained at Moringa School, contributing to a vibrant community of learners and industry leaders who champion collaboration and growth.

    Moringa School CEO Nikki Germany said “Bringing together learners, industry leaders and hiring partners under one roof is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of what’s possible when education meets opportunity. We’re proud to create spaces where talent is nurtured, showcased and launched into impactful careers”.
