    Samsung Launches the Galaxy A36 and A56 In Kenya

    Samsung has announced the availability of two new smartphones, the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G in Kenya. These two phones were unveiled globally in March at MWC 2025 and you can finally get them in Kenya. They pack the latest AI-powered features as well as comprehensive security and privacy protections to provide a safe and long-lasting mobile experience.

    “The new Galaxy A series brings advanced AI-powered features to more users across the region, providing them with tools to boost their creativity, improve user convenience and enhance productivity with durable, seamless and secure mobile experiences,” said Anthony Hutia, Head of Mobile eXperience (MX) at Samsung Electronics East Africa.

    The Samsung Galaxy A36 is available in Kenya starting from Ksh 31,800 while the Galaxy A56 is available starting from Ksh 45,000. The price may vary depending on where you buy it from but these are the current prices as of April 2025.

    • Octa-core (1×2.9 GHz Cortex-A720 & 3×2.6 GHz Cortex-A720 & 4×1.9 GHz Cortex-A520)
    • GPU: Xclipse 540
    • OS: Android 15, One UI 7
    • RAM: 6/8/12 GB
    • Storage: 128/256 GB, UFS 3.1
    • Main Camera: 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 5 MP (macro)
    • Video Recording: Up to 4K@30fps
    • Selfie Camera: 12 MP (wide), video recording 4K@30fps
    • Battery: 5000 mAh, 45W wired charging 

    Samsung will also launch the Galaxy A56 5G Enterprise Edition, offering business-ready mobile experiences to cutting-edge enterprises of any size. Enterprise customers benefit from seven years of security and One UI updates, three years of warranty, and a two-year product lifecycle guarantee to ensure long-lasting and worry-free adoption. It also includes a one-year license to the Knox Suite – Enterprise Plan.
