    Tunisian Startup, Juridoc, Secures Funding to Expand AI-Powered Legal Tech Platform

    Founded in 2021,  Juridoc simplifies access to legal resources through a comprehensive database that includes legislation, case law, doctrine, and legal monitoring. Its intelligent search engine, powered by generative AI, enables legal professionals, businesses, and institutions to optimize their work by quickly accessing reliable and up-to-date information.”

    Already established in Tunisia and Senegal, Juridoc has achieved impressive figures: over 252,000 documents available, 325,000 successful legal searches, and more than 4,000 paid users. Building on this success, the startup aims to democratize access to legal information in new markets.

    “We believe our solution addresses a critical need for legal professionals, not just in Tunisia and Senegal but across West Africa and the Middle East. We aim to expand our expertise and deliver significant value to new users.” – Kais Assali, co-founder and CEO of Juridoc.”

    Juridoc has recently closed a funding round led by 216 Capital and Go Big Partners to support its development in West Africa and the Middle East. This investment will empower the startup to:

    • Upgrade its technological infrastructure to optimize the performance of its AI-based search engine.
    • Expand its database with legal content tailored to the local specifics of new markets.
    • Support its commercial and marketing efforts to accelerate platform adoption.

We are delighted to support Juridoc in its growth and contribute to modernizing access to legal information in high-demand markets.” – said Dhekra Khelifi, Partner at 216 Capital Ventures.

    Today, Juridoc covers Tunisian, Senegalese law, as well as OHADA, UEMOA, and ECOWAS regulations, with plans for further expansion to its scope. This funding round marks a new milestone in Juridoc’s mission to make law more accessible, structured, and efficient for everyone.
