NCBA Bank has partnered with Edu Hub, a university placement service provider, to support the financing needs of local customers pursuing studies abroad, as well as Kenyan diaspora customers seeking education opportunities in Kenya or overseas.

With the partnership, NCBA will be providing financial solutions like education loans designed specifically to finance tuition fees and other educational expenses. They will come in the form of personal unsecured and secured loans for customers who want to unlock the value of their assets to finance education.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, NCBA Ag. Group Director, Retail Banking Dennis Njau said, “As a bank committed to customer satisfaction, we have sought this partnership to enable families with financing solutions that will make education more affordable and accessible. We believe that financial restrictions should not be a barrier to academic excellence and have curated affordable loans under our diaspora banking offering to enable them to achieve their dreams.”

The loans will be offered at competitive rates and are designed to provide affordable and structured financial aid to students and families who are investing in higher education.

Commenting on the “As stakeholders in the education sector, we have witnessed instances of students being deprived of chances to pursue higher studies abroad due to financial constraints. I am therefore pleased that NCBA has partnered to provide loans to qualified applicants. I believe that through our partnership, our joint customer base will be able to tap into structured, flexible, and stable financial products that will make their academic dreams come true,” said Mr. James Ngigi, Chief Executive Officer, Edu Hub.

The Bank has recently enhanced its Diaspora Banking offering with tailored financial solutions designed to meet the diverse needs of its diaspora customers. These solutions cater to individuals relocating abroad, those already established in the diaspora, and those returning to Kenya.

As the exclusive financial partner, NCBA is becoming the go-to bank for education financing and diaspora banking solutions, which enhances brand exposure and stimulates the adoption of NCBA’s education loan products.

We are extremely proud of NCBA and Edu Hub for coming together to define the future of education diplomacy,” said Amb. Joseph Warui, Deputy High Commissioner to the Court of St. James (Kenya High Commission – London). “This collaboration ensures that local and foreign students are able to get access to financial solutions, opening up unlimited possibilities and enhancing further global connections.”

NCBA welcomes parents and students to visit these funding solutions and sit down with representatives of the bank to explore tailored arrangements that best suit their requirements.
