    Vertiv Resumes Technology Knowledge Forum Webinar Series in Africa for 2025

    Vertiv has announced the resumption of its technical webinar series in Africa in 2025. Called the “Technology Knowledge Forum” webinar series, the talks aim to keep data centre managers, IT professionals, and industry leaders informed on the latest technology trends shaping the continent.

    This year’s series of webcasts focus on critical topics impacting the local industry such as:

    • Power and cooling challenges posed by adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and the solutions needed to address these concerns
    • Tackling data centre operational concerns through advanced thermal management technologies
    • The use of prefabricated infrastructure solutions for AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and high-density data centres
    • Efficient and scalable energy storage solutions addressing high power demands for present and future workloads
    • AI-driven, predictive, and condition-based maintenance.

    Taking place monthly from March through November 2025, the webinars will feature expert local and global speakers from Vertiv including Jonathan Duncan, technical director for Africa; AlessandroArtusi, commercial service offering leader; Slawomir Dziedziula, director of application engineers for the EMEA region; and Kristijan Gortan, offering manager for DC power in EMEA.

    “Our technical webinars will provide listeners with practical insights on the most topical trends and challenges within the African data centre sector, including thermal and power management, efficient and environmentally responsible energy storage solutions, dynamic power, and HPC and AI-driven operations. By sharing our global expertise and practical insights, we aim to empower participants with actionable knowledge that enhances their operations and technological strategies,” says Jonathan Duncan, technical director for Africa at Vertiv.
