TapSwap Exchange has officially launched its full web platform after testing a limited version from mid-2023 to mid-2024. With tens of thousands of early adopters validating the strong demand for an accessible and localized crypto exchange, TapSwap Exchange is now poised to transform the way Africans interact with the global financial system.

The platform currently supports over 20 cryptocurrencies, enabling users to buy, sell, swap, send and receive crypto seamlessly. In a bold step toward enhancing financial accessibility, TapSwap Exchange is making it easier for users to buy and sell cryptocurrency this quarter. Soon, users will be able to buy crypto using mobile money, bank cards, Google Pay, or Revolut Pay, depending on their location. They will also be able to convert their crypto back into regular money and withdraw it when needed.

To ensure wide adoption and convenience, TapSwap Exchange has partnered with Kotani Pay to make it easy for people across Africa to buy and sell crypto using their local payment methods. For more experienced users, TapSwap Exchange has also teamed up with Guardarian to enable reliable transactions worldwide. These partnerships ensure that every African, regardless of their preferred payment method, can access the TapSwap platform effortlessly.

In addition to these services, TapSwap is developing a mobile application set to launch soon. With this app, millions of African smartphone users will gain easy access to the global crypto market at their fingertips.

“Kenya’s leadership in mobile money provides a blueprint for what can be achieved with crypto and blockchain technology,” said Kibiru Muthaka, CFA, CEO of TapSwap Exchange. “With just a smartphone, anyone can connect to the global financial system, bridging the gap between traditional and digital economies. At TapSwap Exchange, our vision has always been to ensure no one is left behind in the shift toward digital finance. That’s why we also champion education through our Learn and Earn Center, available on our website, which is packed with easy-to-follow guides for both beginners and experienced users.”

The launch of TapSwap’s full platform and its upcoming features reflect the company’s commitment to simplifying crypto adoption, fostering financial inclusion, and building a secure and robust ecosystem for African users.
