OPPO Find X8 has officially launched in Kenya and is available across the country for Ksh 140,000. This is currently the most expensive phone from the company in the country and was launched globally on 21st November 2024. Kenya is one of the first international markets to unveil this phone.

The Find X8 is launching at a very competitive segment dominated by Samsung and Apple. While OPPO has had some flagship phones, we rarely see them officially launch in Kenya.

“With the Find X8, OPPO has broken through barriers that have held smartphones back for generations. Its exquisite, ultra-slim design, ultra-grade cameras, and ultra-powerful performance make creativity, productivity, and everyday tasks easier and more seamless than ever. We are particularly excited toit available in the Kenyan market as it is an incredible tool for creators, offering them a new way to bring their visions to life” said Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager, OPPO Kenya.

The Find X8 is as premium as flagship phones get. It has a glass and aluminum construction with a striking Cosmos Ring design. It features a 6.59 inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has Swiss SGS and Military Grade certification, tested to whole-phone drop resistance and MGJB 150.18A MIL-STD impact standards. Additionally, it is IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant, able to withstand being submerged in 1.5m of water for 30 minutes and jet sprays of water up to 80ºC for total peace of mind.
