Bolt Food has launched its Black Friday campaign, offering consumers discounts ranging from 25% to 50%. The campaign is ongoing till 30th November 2024. It will spans over 250 restaurants. Bolt Food recently celebrated its third anniversary in Kenya revealing that it has partnered with over 2000 restaurants nationwide.

The discounts, which will be available via the Bolt Food app, are expected to drive significant customer engagement. The company anticipates an uptick in daily orders across the month-long campaign.

Bolt Food aims to capitalise on the rising demand for food delivery services across Nairobi as part of its strategy to drive customer growth and increase order volumes. This extensive discount initiative is designed to provide value to consumers and enhance the visibility of partner restaurants, many of which are small and medium-sized businesses looking to boost sales during the holiday season.

Bolt Food faces stiff competition from both Uber Foods and Glovo. Both these two have partnered with a number of restaurants across the country and invest a lot in their marketing to get more people to use their platforms. Competition in the food delivery business is stiff with very small margins.

By bringing over 250 restaurants for this campaign, we can give our customers more choices and create a win-win scenario for our partners.”

The campaign underscores the company’s commitment to growth in the competitive food delivery market. Its strategic focus is on customer retention through affordability and variety. The participating restaurants represent a broad spectrum of cuisines, providing options that cater to diverse tastes and preferences.
