In collaboration with Samsung Electronics East Africa, Smart Things Executive Store today announced the opening of its first official Shop-in-Shop (SIS) in Kakamega County. This milestone aligns with Samsung Electronics East Africa ambitious strategy, aimed at bringing cutting-edge technology closer to consumers across the country through strategic partnerships with its network of dealers.

The new Samsung Experience Store in Kakamega owned by Smart Things Executive Store is a Shop-in-Shop (SIS) concept, where Samsung smartphones, wearables and accessories occupy 60% of the retail space. This model not only showcases Samsung’s wide range of products, from smartphones and tablets to wearables, but also highlights the company’s drive to increase the brand’s smartphone market share in the Kenyan market with a current share of 31.7%.

“Samsung is committed to ensuring that every Kenyan has access to our world-class technology,” said Derrick Alenga, Retail Manager, Mobile Experience Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa. “These strategic expansion collaborations are designed to bring Samsung devices closer to consumers, enabling them to experience the best that Samsung has to offer.”

The SIS store will offer a fully immersive retail experience, showcasing Samsung’s extensive range of mobile devices, including its flagship Galaxy series, foldables, wearables, and accessories. Customers can expect expert guidance from trained staff and tailored service, designed to help them make informed choices based on their personal and professional needs. The SIS will also feature flexible financing options through the “Lipa Pole Pole” payment model, making Samsung devices more attainable for a wider audience.

The opening of the Kakamega SIS store comes at a pivotal time. This move is expected to further strengthen Samsung’s reach in key regional markets and deepen customer engagement, all while providing the local community with access to the latest technology and exemplary customer service.
