LG Begins to Roll Out Its 2024 TV Lineup in Kenya

LG OLED TV

LG has announced the rollout of the 2024 lineup of LG OLED TVs and QNED TVs in Kenya. The TVs will be available for purchase at LG Brandshops and leading supermarkets countrywide.

Central to this TV lineup are the company’s latest cutting-edge AI processors, which unlock an enhanced home entertainment experience through a precise and immersive picture and audio quality. Engineered exclusively for its OLED TVs, the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor featured in the 97-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED M4, LG OLED evo M4 and G4 models boasts AI with deep learning that is four times more powerful than its predecessor, the Alpha 9 Gen 6 processor.

With enhanced AI upscaling capabilities, LG’s latest OLED TVs enlarge and sharpen objects and backgrounds with precise pixel-level image analysis for a new and improved approach to viewing content. Through the power of AI, LG OLED TVs create a clearer, more vibrant viewing experience and offer real-time upscaling when watching sub-4K content from a range of popular steaming services. The advanced AI processor also adeptly refines colors by analyzing commonly used shades to capture the mood and emotions envisaged by the director. For example, in scenes with abundant warm tones, it enhances the red and yellow hues more precisely to evoke a warm, cozy ambiance.

In addition to remarkable pictures, AI Sound Pro enriches audio by leveraging the virtual 11.1.2 surround sound from the TV’s built-in speakers, further elevating the sense of immersion and realism. This feature also separates voices from background noise effectively to ensure crystal-clear dialogue.

LG is also providing more options in the premium TV market. The LG OLED M4 series is now available in sizes from 65 to 97 inches, letting more people benefit from the innovative wireless Zero Connect Box that eliminates cables and gives them the freedom needed to design their dream living spaces. The TV’s video and audio wireless transmission technology even supports up to 4K 144Hz, as well as clear, crisp sound without interruption or quality degradation.

LG’s latest OLED evo G4 series impresses viewers by leveraging the company’s Brightness Booster Max technology to achieve a maximum brightness that is 150 percent brighter than conventional OLED TVs.

Featuring unique Quantum Dot and NanoCell color technologies, the company’s latest QNED TVs deliver crisp, vivid picture quality for hyper-realistic viewing. With enhanced color reproduction, QNED TVs’ authentic colors heighten the visual depth of content for the immersive, three-dimensional home entertainment experience other LED TVs cannot compete with.

The AI performance of LG QNED Mini LED TV (QNED90) is 1.3-times more powerful than its Alpha 7 Gen 6 predecessor, refining picture quality by adjusting brightness precisely and optimizing visual output based on the meticulous analysis of every scene. It also boasts richer, fuller audio with virtual 9.1.2 surround sound coming from its built-in speakers.

For an enriched home entertainment experience with heightened immersion, LG OLED TVs and QNED TVs pair wirelessly with LG Soundbars through WOWCAST Built-in. WOW Orchestra creates highly immersive three-dimensional audio, while the TV’s built-in speakers and soundbar work together as a unified audio system to supply the superior sound. What’s more, LG’s AI Sound Algorithms analyze each speaker’s performance and further optimize audio output for a more refined sound, enriching viewing pleasure.

To achieve the most realistic levels of contrast, LG QNED Mini LED TVs utilize Precision Dimming technology which improves gradations and enables accurate backlight control, while LG QNED TVs feature local dimming technology for vivid contrast and exceptional brightness.

The LG QNED Mini LED TV (QNED90)’s Million Grey Scale feature differentiates between shades of gray and represents gradation with a 20-bit accuracy for immensely vibrant contrast.

LG’s 2024 QNED TV lineup caters to customers’ diverse needs and preferences by giving them more sizes to choose from. This range is led by the extremely immersive, ultra-large 98-inch QNED TV which addresses the growing demand for larger premium LCD screens. The extensive lineup also includes 43-, 50-, 55-, 65-, 75- and 86-inch options to ensure there is the perfect size for every unique living space.

Boasting a sleek, sophisticated design with a thickness of just 29 millimeters, LG 2024 QNED TVs, including QNED85 and QNED80 models, add a touch of elegance to any décor and can be mounted on the wall to free up space for furniture and make interiors feel more spacious.

In 2024, LG is celebrating its decade-long journey with webOS by continuing to enhance the smart TV platform’s versatility, giving users an even more personalized and convenient home entertainment experience. The latest webOS allows users to create up to 10 individual profiles as a way of tailoring the experience to their tastes and preferences. LG’s latest smart TVs can even recognize the user’s voice based on their profiles and deliver personalized recommendations by identifying patterns in their usage history.

Based on their profiles, users can customize the Home screen and set personalized settings with minimal effort. This permits easy access to their favorite content and services and access to the personalized picture wizard, a service that lets them adjust image quality to their liking. For an even more seamless user experience, the Home screen’s user-friendly interface provides a preview of recently watched content or frequently used apps, making it quick and easy for them to pick up where they left off.

Thanks to Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, LG Smart TV users can enjoy Apple TV+ in sublime 4K. The company’s newest premium TVs are also the first to support both Dolby Vision and Filmmaker Mode, a cinematic experience available with Apple TV+ titles mastered in Dolby Vision.

With the webOS Re:New program, LG is bringing the latest webOS upgrade to every model in its 2022 OLED TV lineup, LG OLED Flex, LG OLED Objet Collection Posé, and its 2022 QNED Mini LED 8K (QNED99/95 series) TVs. This upgrade promises users the joy of a new TV experience for the next five years and will extend to LG TVs around the world in the future to ensure nobody misses out on the ultimate TV experience.

LG is committed to delivering the best user experiences to everyone by enhancing the accessibility of its products and facilitating seamless connections across multiple devices. This year’s LG smart TVs leverage the latest version of webOS to interact with smart home devices supporting Matter, the universal standard for smart homes (IoT). Moreover, the newest LG TVs have Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast built-in to let users effortlessly cast content from their mobile devices to their ultra-large TV screen.

To enhance the user experience for people with differing abilities, LG TVs offer various accessibility features within Quick Card’s Accessibility section. Now, everyone can find useful accessibility features on the Home screen, including services that help people with disabilities navigate their TV like remote control tutorials and a chatbot that lets them access services with just their voice. This feature is also an easy way to learn about LG TVs’ capabilities for maximum enjoyment.
