The Tecno Spark 20 was recently unveiled in Kenya and is available in retail stores for Ksh 18,300 for the 4GB RAM variant and Ksh 23,300 for the 8GB RAM option. As the company’s entry level series, the Spark 20 series builds on the success of the Spark 10 series that we reviewed last year. I loved the Spark 10 and I am expecting the Spark 20 to be equally as good.
The Tecno Spark 20 was officially released back in December 2023 and it’s now available in Kenya. The phone doesn’t have that many upgrades but still has decent specs for a 2024 smartphone. The display is an LCD one with the same 720p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Nothing impressive here but I can’t complain before using it.
This phone comes with the MediaTek Helio G85 processor with either 4 or 8GB of RAM. At the back it has a 50 MP main sensor and for selfies it has a 32MP one. The 32MP front facing camera is the same one on the slightly more expensive Spark 20 Pro.
