A Look at the Best OPPO Smartphones from 2023

OPPO Find N3 Flip

In 2023, I used a number of OPPO Smartphones most of which were in the mid-range and flagship category. The company launched numerous devices from the affordable A series to the Find N2 series which was its first flip phone to launch in the country. I did not get a chance to use any A series phones from OPPO but they are still a good choice.

In this article, I will highlight the best OPPO phones I have used and their unique and stand out features. You can get these phones in Kenya through online retailers and offline through most smartphone retailers across the country.

The OPPO Find N3 Flip

I got this phone towards the end of 2023 and this is the latest Flip phone from OPPO. The phone builds up on the Find N2 Flip offering a better camera, software and user experience. It is well built and is the right choice for anyone who wants a reliable flip phone and may not want what is already on the market from other manufacturers like Samsung.

This phone has a very bright display that ensures you have an immersive experience. It also has a bigger cover display that lets you do a lot more than you would with its predecessor. This is one of the things that has really impressed me as a functional cover display makes the flip phones worth it.

The camera on this phone is also quite good. I have taken very sharp and crisp shots with this phone. If you take lots of photos, this phone is perfect for you.

OPPO Find N2 Flip

Since the Find N3 Flip is yet to officially launch in Kenya, the next best option is the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Since the Find N2 Flip is not very expensive, it is the perfect phone for anyone who is looking for their first Flip phone.

Its powerful performance, advanced camera capabilities, and 5G connectivity make it a very good choice. The phone is reliable and stands out anytime you use it out in public. However, 44W charging is not that impressive. For a phone its price, you expect faster charging speeds.

OPPO Reno8 T

With the OPPO Reno8 T, the company changed the overall design and look of this series. This is the series that introduced the curved display and back. This gives the phone a premium look.

Support for 5G, sharp display, long lasting battery and powerful processor are just some of the features that make this phone worth it.

OPPO Reno10 5G

The latest Reno series that you can get in Kenya is the Reno10 5G. It is not that different from the Reno8 T but builds up on just a few things. It is still worth having and since it supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging, it can be charged fully in less than 50 minutes.

The Dimensity 7050 processor that powers this phone gets the job done. The performance leap on the Reno10 5G is significant compared to its predecessor. If you are into mobile gaming, this phone will not disappoint.

Besides performance, it has a sharp AMOLED display making it the right choice for media consumption. With a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate, interacting with this phone feels incredibly smooth.

You cannot go wrong with the Reno10 5G, I still use it to this day. The back camera is also great and is a big improvement from the reno8 T. If you take a lot of photos, this camera will not let you down.

What to Expect

As 2024 starts, I do expect new phones from OPPO to launch in Kenya. The global; launch of the Reno 11 Series is expected soon and we should see that phone in Kenya very soon.
