    The Tecno Pop 8 is the latest entry level smartphone from the company to launch in Kenya. The phone is available in Kenya starting from ksh 12,500 on Jumia and through most smartphone retailers across the country. For this price, you are getting the 3GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal; storage space.

    The Pop 8 is the successor to the Pop 7 which you can still get in Kenya. At its price, the Pop 8 is competing directly with the iTel A70, OPPO A17K just to name a few. All these are good phones for that price and you can’t go wrong with either. The Tecno Pop 8 series was launched in the country without any fanfare for reasons unknown to us.

    When looking at the Pop 8’s specifications, it comes with a display with 90Hz refresh rate and the Unisoc T606 processor. We have seen this processor on some of the recent phones from Infinix and itel.

    The phone has a 13MP main sensor at the back and an 8MP front facing camera. Take a look at its other specifications below.
