LG Energy-Efficient Dryers and Dishwashers

LG Electronics East Africa has unveiled its latest state-of-the-art dryers and dishwashers, aiming to revolutionize the way Kenyan households manage their laundry and dishwashing needs.

Mr. Dongwon Lee, the Managing Director of LG Electronics, expressed the company’s vision during the rollout of the appliances, stating, “With our commitment to innovation and quality, we aim to elevate the daily lives of Kenyan consumers by providing them with cutting-edge appliances that deliver convenience, efficiency, and superior performance. We are confident that our dryers and dishwashers will transform the way Kenyan households manage their laundry and dishwashing tasks, simplifying their lives and freeing up valuable time.”

LG says these new appliances boast exceptional performance, energy efficiency, and sleek designs, all built to provide unparalleled convenience, time savings, and cleanliness. LG’s Heat Pump Dryers, featuring exclusive DUAL Inverter technology, offer industry-leading energy efficiency up to A+++-10% along with a remarkable 10-year warranty. The dual-cylinder system optimizes energy consumption while minimizing wrinkles, ensuring garments retain their quality and preventing unnecessary wear.

Moreover, the Sensor Dry system detects moisture levels and adjusts drying time accordingly, resulting in perfectly dried laundry every time. This feature not only saves time and energy but also protects clothes from over-drying, preserving their longevity.

On the dishwashing front, LG’s dishwashers boast intelligent technologies with intuitive controls, adjustable racks, and a large load capacity that make kitchen clean-up a breeze. The LG QuadWash, in particular, stands out by cleaning dishes from multiple angles in a single wash, eliminating the need for pre-washing. The Inverter Direct Drive technology ensures a stable and quiet operation, providing a seamless and noise-free experience in the kitchen.

Using the LG ThinQ application, users can control the dishwasher remotely, adding an extra layer of convenience. Additionally, the TrueSteam technology delivers superior cleaning performance by effectively removing stubborn stains and ensuring spotless results with each use. The adjustable racks and customizable storage options make it easy to accommodate various dish sizes and shapes, catering to the diverse needs of modern households.

According to LG, a major focus during the development of these appliances was energy efficiency and sustainability. LG Electronics has engineered the dryers and dishwashers with eco-friendly features like the Inverter Direct Drive motor, significantly reducing energy consumption and noise levels. Furthermore, the appliances utilize eco-friendly materials, minimizing their environmental impact and making them more environmentally responsible choices.

In terms of aesthetics, LG understands the importance of appliances complementing modern homes’ decor. The sleek, minimalist designs and premium finishes of the dryers and dishwashers add a touch of elegance to any kitchen or laundry room, blending seamlessly with various interior styles.

Customers looking to upgrade their laundry and dishwashing experiences can find the appliances at authorized retailers and select LG brand stores across the country. The dishwashers will retail between KES 134,000 and KES 200,000, while the dryers will be available at KES 138,000 to KES 190,000.
