Samsung Electronics has launched two new smartphones, the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G, in Kenya. These new additions to the popular Galaxy A series offer users advanced features such as improved camera capabilities, longer battery life, and more vivid displays. These smartphones were unveiled to a global audience last month and you can now get them in Kenya.

According to TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, “Cutting-edge mobile experiences are increasingly essential to everyday life…With continuous enhancements to the Galaxy A series, we’re ensuring that more people around the world can access our transformative innovations.”

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G promise improved camera capabilities, making it easy to capture high-quality photos and videos in a variety of lighting conditions. The 32MP front camera on the Galaxy A54 5G produces astonishing detail, and the video digital image stabilization (VDIS) and optical image stabilization (OIS) combat shakiness and blur.

The smartphones also come with enhanced editing tools that allow users to remove unwanted shadows and reflections. Night mode helps users capture more detail in low-light conditions by broadening the camera’s pixel size.

Both devices feature immersive Super AMOLED displays with enhanced outdoor visibility, even under bright sunlight. The displays have been upgraded with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster to keep up with users as they move between different lighting conditions.

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G guarantee up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates, ensuring that users have access to the latest software and security to maximize the smartphone lifecycle.

The smartphones are compatible with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem, providing seamless connectivity between devices. Users can get 100GB of cloud storage and easily back up photos to OneDrive with a six-month trial of Microsoft 365 Basic, accessible on the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G.

Galaxy A34 and A54 Price and Availability in Kenya

The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G will be available in Lime, Graphite, and White (A54) or Silver (A34) color options at authorized dealer stores nationwide starting from 1st April. The Galaxy A34 is available for Ksh 43,000, while the Galaxy A54 is available for Ksh 54,000.
