OPPO has confirmed that the Reno 8 series will be launched in Kenya later this month. The company says that the series will be launched in the country on Tuesday, 25 October 2022. The price is yet to be revealed but we should have those details as we get closer to the launch date.
The Reno 8 was launched to a global audience back in May and it’s finally making its way to Kenya.
The Reno 8 series in Kenya will comprise the Reno8 5G and the Reno8. The OPPO Reno 8 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G-integrated SoC, The reno 8 5G also features a faster, safer, and more reliable experience with 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge and OPPO’s exclusive Battery HealthEngine, ensuring you have the mobile experience for much longer and in the quickest time yet. With the Super-Conductive Vapor Chamber (VC) Liquide Cooling System, Reno8 5G significantly improves heat dissipation and remains cool.
The Reno8 5G is Powered by Dual Sony Flagship Sensors and several AI-enhanced imaging features such as Ultra Night Video and Night Portrait.

OPPO Reno 8 Specifications
The OPPO Reno 8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor that is paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage.
This phone does have a 6.43 inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. I would have hoped for 120Hz refresh rate but we will not be getting that on this variant for now.
For the cameras, the Reno 8 has a quad setup at the back made up of a 50 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultrawide sensor, 2 MP macro lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. It does have a single 32 MP selfie camera.
A 4500 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging provides all the power.
