The Nokia G11 has finally been launched in Kenya and is available in stores starting from Ksh 18,000 on Jumia and other retailers. This is the latest in the Nokia G series to be launched in Kenya by HMD Global. The last of this series to launch in Kenya was the Nokia G21 that the company launched back in April.

The Nokia G11 Plus has a 90Hz display and dual camera setup at the back. Nokia is promising up to 3 days of battery life on a single charge thanks to the 5,000 mAh battery. The phone is also scheduled to get two major Android OS upgrades and three years of monthly security updates.

Florian Seiche, CEO at HMD Global: Florian Seiche, CEO at HMD Global: “With the new Nokia G11 plus, we have designed a proposition that specifically helps consumers keep their phone for longer with our promises; 3-day battery, three years of monthly security updates and three versions of Android to ensure your device is up to date.”

    The Nokia G11 Plus Specifications

The Nokia G11 Plus comes with a 6.517 inch display with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.

Powering this phone is the Unisoc T606 (octa-core) processor that has been paired with either 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of storage. This does not scream power but real world tests are needed to determine how this combination has to offer in terms of performance.

For connectivity, the G11 Plus supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
