Last week, Tecno took a different direction by unveiling its first ever laptop dubbed the Megabook T1. Tecno is known for its smartphones but the company seems to be diversifying with the launch of its first laptop.

According to Tecno, the Megabook T1 is made for generation Z with a lighter but offers better MEGA performance from a laptop at a cost-effective price in the range. This laptop has a 15.6 inch display with a battery big enough to provide 17.5 hours of usage.

The Tecno Megabook T1 is powered by the Intel Core i5-1155G7 processor and is available in two options of 12GB RAM/512GB SSD storage and 16GB RAM/1TB SSD storage. This is quite impressive for a first generation laptop. There is a Core i7 variant of this laptop that the company says is made for professional designers.

Since launching its AIoT strategy in 2019, Tecno has been working on building its smart device ecosystem. “To deliver convenience for every person, home and business to create an intelligent connection of life moments,” said Jack Guo, General Manager of Tecno.

It has the TÜV Eye Comfort Certification in order to help GEN Z to use it all day for work and watch movies and not be uncomfortable. The self-developed Tecno VOC sound system works with DTS sound and AI-powered technology to give an immersive audio experience.
