The Tecno Camon 19 Pro is one of the three latest phones in the Camon 19 series recently launched by the company. The phone is available in retail stores for Ksh 33,799. This is the most expensive phone in the Camon 19 series and has impressed me so far.
Competing with the Tecno Camon 19 Pro is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. This phone is available for around Ksh 34,000 and should be on your list if you are looking for a new smartphone within this price range. The redmi Note 11 Pro has been in retail stores in Kenya for a few months longer than the Camon 19 Pro but both are still good choices.

As you can see from the specifications above, the two phones have quite a number of similarities.
The display
The two phones are almost similar in size with the differences being in the screen type used. The Redmi Note 11 Pro has a Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This in my opinion is much better than the IPS display on the Camon 19 Pro.
With an AMOLED display, you get very rich colors with deeper blacks.
Performance and software
Both phones are powered by the Helio G96 processor and come with 8GB of RAM and standard. There is not a big difference in performance so you are getting pretty much the same experience.
On the software bit is where you get some differences. The Camon 19 Pro comes with Android 12 out of the box with the Redmi Note 11 Pro having Android 11 powering it. Having the latest OS version is always great as you are just never sure when updates will be rolled out.
Cameras
The Redmi Note 11 Pro has a quad camera setup at the back with a 108MP main sensor. The shots you get with this camera are quite detailed with very good saturation. The Camon 19 Pro on the other hand has a triple camera setup with a 64MP main sensor. The Tecno does take really good night shots and the quality of shots I got really impressed me.
Battery
Both phones have 5,000 mAh batteries that should easily last anyone an entire day. The Redmi Note 11 Pro has an advantage with the charging speeds as it does support 67W fast charging. This means that it can charge much faster than the Camon 19 Pro.
